He's already won this season's Premier League and Champions League with Manchester United, and with an eye on Euro 2008, Portugal's Ronaldo paid a visit to PalmerSport to sharpen his reactions!

Arriving with friends including Portugal's first-ever GP2 race-winner Alvaro Parente, the world's best footballer took to the track after some coaching from PalmerSport's expert instructors.

With Parente in the passenger seat, Ronaldo took the controls of a PalmerJaguar JP1, and put his precious feet to good use on the pedals of the 3.0-litre V6 powered sportscar. After some instruction from Parente, they swapped seats and Ronaldo experienced a thrilling high-speed ride with the GP2 star.

Having caught his breath and signed some autographs, the Portuguese superstar told us: "I'd never experienced anything like it before, I absolutely loved it, what an amazing feeling!"
